1c X 10mm² PVC insulated stranded copper earthing cable (yellow-green) is a key cable specially designed for earthing in electrical systems. With its unique structure, eye-catching identification and reliable performance, it plays an irreplaceable role in ensuring electrical safety.​ In terms of specification parameters, the cable is designed as a single core (1c) with a cross-sectional area of 10mm², which can effectively meet the conduction needs of large earthing currents. The conductor is made of multiple strands of copper wires twisted together. This structure not only improves the flexibility of the cable, making it easy to bend and lay in complex environments, but also enhances its fatigue resistance and prolongs its service life. At 20℃, the maximum resistance of the conductor does not exceed 1.83Ω/km, ensuring that the earthing current can be conducted quickly and with low loss, thus guaranteeing the effectiveness of the earthing system. The insulation layer is made of PVC material with a thickness of about 1.2-1.5mm, and the insulation resistance is greater than 100MΩ·km at room temperature, which can effectively avoid leakage between the earthing cable and other conductors, ensuring the safety of the earthing system. The outer diameter of the cable is about 6.0-6.5mm, which is suitable for conventional earthing conduits and installation spaces, facilitating construction operations. Although its rated voltage is mainly designed for earthing scenarios, it can adapt to earthing needs in general low-voltage environments. The operating temperature range is -15℃ to 70℃, allowing it to work stably under different climatic conditions.​ In terms of characteristic uses, this cable, with its exclusive yellow-green identification, is widely used in earthing circuits of various electrical systems. In industrial workshops, the metal enclosures of large mechanical equipment and production lines must be reliably earthed through this cable to prevent electric shock accidents when the equipment leaks electricity; in commercial buildings such as shopping malls and office buildings, the earthing terminals of distribution boxes and switch cabinets need to be connected to this cable to form a complete earthing network, ensuring electrical safety in public areas; in residential buildings, the earthing bars of household distribution boxes and the metal enclosures of high-power household appliances such as air conditioners and electric water heaters also rely on this cable to conduct possible leakage currents into the ground, protecting the personal safety of residents. In addition, in places such as power substations and communication base stations, this cable, as an important part of the earthing system, can effectively reduce the risk of electric shock in cases of lightning strikes and equipment failures, and stabilize the system voltage.​ In terms of materials, the stranded conductor is made of high-purity electrolytic copper with a purity of more than 99.9%, which has excellent conductivity, ensuring smooth conduction of earthing current. The PVC insulation layer not only has good wear resistance and acid-alkali corrosion resistance, able to adapt to various complex environments, but also has certain flame retardancy. When exposed to fire, it burns slowly and can self-extinguish, further improving the safety of the earthing system. The yellow-green insulation layer is made with a special formula, with bright colors that are not easy to fade, in line with international general earthing identification standards, which can be quickly identified to avoid incorrect connection of earthing lines.​ In terms of production process, the cable undergoes multiple strict processes such as copper wire drawing, stranding, PVC insulation layer extrusion (while forming yellow-green identification), cooling and solidification, and spark test. The stranding process ensures that the copper wires are evenly arranged and uniformly stressed; during the extrusion of the insulation layer, a special mold is used to achieve uniform distribution and precise thickness control of the yellow-green colors; the spark test strictly inspects the integrity of the insulation layer to ensure no pinholes, cracks and other defects. Each step follows high-standard quality control, so that the product meets relevant industry specifications and safety standards.​ In terms of general information, the packaging adopts plastic reels or cartons according to different lengths, and the outer layer is wrapped with moisture-proof plastic film to prevent moisture and dust during transportation and storage. During transportation, severe collisions and extreme temperatures should be avoided to prevent damage to the insulation layer and affect performance. A comprehensive quality inspection will be carried out before delivery to ensure that each reel of cable meets the standards.
