The 16, 25, and 35 square millimeters (Sqmm) 2-core low-voltage unarmored power cable is a high-efficiency power transmission product designed specifically for low-voltage distribution scenarios. Its core advantages lie in the use of oxygen-free pure copper conductors and LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jackets, combining excellent conductivity, environmental safety, and mechanical protection capabilities. It is widely used in power transmission and distribution systems in construction, industry, new energy, and other fields.​ In terms of conductors, the cable uses oxygen-free pure copper with a purity of ≥99.99%, manufactured through multi-strand stranding technology. The oxygen content of oxygen-free pure copper is ≤0.003%, avoiding the impact of oxides on conductivity. Its DC resistance at 20℃ is much lower than industry standards—16mm² conductor ≤1.15Ω/km, 25mm² ≤0.727Ω/km, 35mm² ≤0.524Ω/km—effectively reducing transmission losses and improving power transmission efficiency. The multi-strand stranded structure enhances the flexibility of the conductor, with a minimum bending radius of 6 times the cable outer diameter (static) and 10 times the outer diameter (dynamic), facilitating bending and laying in narrow spaces (such as wall tubing, inside cable trays) and reducing construction difficulty.​ The insulation and jacket system is another highlight of this cable. The insulation layer is made of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) material with a temperature resistance rating of 90℃, with an insulation resistance of ≥10¹⁴Ω·m and a dielectric loss tangent of ≤0.002 (at 90℃). It can work stably for a long time under a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and can withstand a high temperature of 250℃ during short circuits (within 5 seconds), ensuring insulation reliability under extreme working conditions. The outer jacket is made of LSOH material, passing the GB/T 18380 flame retardancy test (single vertical burning test). When burned, it produces low smoke density (light transmittance ≥60%), a toxicity index ≤5, and contains no halogens, complying with the EU RoHS environmental standards. It is particularly suitable for use in densely populated places (such as hospitals, shopping malls) and enclosed spaces (such as subways, tunnels). In addition, the LSOH jacket has a tensile strength of ≥12MPa and an elongation at break of ≥125%, which can resist extrusion, friction, acid, and alkali erosion, extending the service life of the cable.​ In terms of structural design, the cable adopts a compact structure of "conductor + insulation layer + filling layer + jacket". The 2-core design meets the needs of single-phase or two-phase low-voltage power distribution. The space between the cores is filled with non-hygroscopic materials to ensure a round structure; the outer LSOH jacket is tightly wrapped, with a thickness ranging from 1.2mm to 2.0mm depending on the cross-sectional specification, ensuring protective performance while controlling the overall diameter—16mm² cable has an outer diameter of approximately 15mm, 25mm² approximately 18mm, and 35mm² approximately 21mm, saving installation space. The unarmored design reduces resistance to mechanical impact but lowers the cable's weight (16mm² is approximately 0.6kg/m, 35mm² approximately 1.2kg/m), making it more suitable for non-direct burial scenarios such as open laying, pipe threading, or cable tray installation.​ The performance parameters are highly matched with application scenarios. In terms of current-carrying capacity, the 16mm² cable has a current-carrying capacity of approximately 70A when laid in air and 85A in soil; 25mm² is 95A and 115A respectively; 35mm² is 120A and 145A respectively, meeting different load requirements from residential incoming lines (16mm²) to power supply for small industrial equipment (35mm²). It can operate in an ambient temperature range of -40℃ to 90℃, adapting to complex working conditions such as outdoor laying in cold regions and high-temperature workshops. Specific applications include: lighting and power distribution trunks in buildings, low-voltage connecting lines for new energy vehicle charging piles, and equipment power supply circuits in data center computer rooms.​ In summary, through the combination of oxygen-free pure copper conductors and LSOH jackets, this cable balances the three core needs of "efficient power transmission", "safety and environmental protection", and "construction convenience", providing a solution with both performance and reliability for low-voltage distribution systems. It shows irreplaceable advantages especially in scenarios with strict requirements for environmental protection and safety levels.
