I. Product-Related Information
(I) Specification Parameters
Ttu Cable is a single-Core Cable with various specifications, including 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 1000 Mcm (thousand circular mils) and 250mm². Each specification has specific dimensions. For 250 Mcm, the conductor diameter is about 8.2mm, insulation thickness 2.5mm, and overall outer diameter 13.2mm. The 300 Mcm cable has a 9.0mm conductor, 2.8mm insulation, and 14.6mm outer diameter. The 400 Mcm cable comes with a 10.2mm conductor, 3.0mm insulation, and 16.2mm outer diameter.
The 500 Mcm variant features an 11.3mm conductor, 3.2mm insulation, and 17.7mm outer diameter. The 600 Mcm cable has a 12.2mm conductor, 3.5mm insulation, and 19.2mm outer diameter. For 700 Mcm, the conductor is 13.0mm, insulation 3.8mm, and outer diameter 20.6mm.
The 800 Mcm cable has a 13.8mm conductor, 4.0mm insulation, and 21.8mm outer diameter. The 1000 Mcm variant has a 15.4mm conductor, 4.5mm insulation, and 24.4mm outer diameter. The 250mm² cable has a 17.8mm conductor, 4.8mm insulation, and 27.4mm outer diameter.
This cable has a rated voltage of 600V. Its long-term allowable operating temperature is 90℃, which ensures stable performance during continuous power transmission. In case of a short circuit, the maximum duration is 5 seconds, and during this time, the conductor temperature will not exceed 250℃, effectively handling sudden power failures. When laying the cable, the ambient temperature should not be lower than 0℃. If the temperature is below 0℃, preheating measures must be taken to avoid damage.
Regarding the bending radius, during laying, it should not be less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable. When fixing, the bending radius should not be less than 6 times the outer diameter. These requirements prevent performance degradation caused by excessive bending during installation and use.

The conductor of TTU cable is made of high-purity electrolytic copper, with a purity of more than 99.95%. Next is the extrusion of the insulation layer. Special extrusion equipment is used to heat and melt the XLPE material, and then evenly coat it on the surface of the conductor to form the insulation layer. During the extrusion process, parameters such as extrusion temperature, pressure and speed are accurately controlled to ensure that the insulation layer has a uniform thickness, is closely combined with the conductor, and has no defects such as bubbles, depressions and protrusions. After extrusion, the cable is cross-linked. In a high-temperature and high-pressure environment, the XLPE molecules form a three-dimensional network structure, which significantly improves its insulation performance, heat resistance and mechanical strength.
After cross-linking, the cable needs to be cooled and shaped to maintain a stable structure and size. During the cooling process, the cooling speed is controlled to avoid cracks on the cable surface due to too fast cooling. Then, the cable undergoes a series of performance tests, including insulation resistance test, voltage withstand test and mechanical performance test, to ensure that each section of the cable meets the relevant quality standards. Finally, the qualified cables are cut and coiled to complete the entire production process.
II. General Product Information
(I) Packaging
TTU cables are packaged with wooden reels. The wooden reels are made of high-quality pine, which has sufficient strength and stability to bear the weight of the cables and resist external impacts during transportation. The diameter of the wooden reel is determined according to the specification and length of the cable. Generally, the diameter of the wooden reel for small-size cables is relatively small, and that for large-size cables is relatively large. This is to ensure that the cable is evenly stressed during winding and avoid loosening or deformation.
The cables are neatly wound on the wooden reels. Isolation paper is placed between each layer of cables to prevent surface damage caused by friction between cables. During the winding process, the winding tension is properly controlled to make the cables arranged closely, reducing the shaking of the cables during transportation. Both sides of the wooden reel are equipped with firm baffles. The baffles are marked with cable specifications, length, model, production date and other information, which is convenient for identification and traceability. At the same time, a moisture-proof film is covered on the outside of the wooden reel, which can effectively prevent the cable from getting damp during storage and transportation and protect the performance of the cable.
For small batches of cables, carton packaging can also be used. The cartons are made of high-strength corrugated paper. Buffer materials such as foam boards and bubble films are placed inside the cartons to fix the cables in the cartons and avoid collision and friction during transportation. (II) Transportation
When transporting TTU cables, appropriate transportation methods should be selected according to the transportation distance and the quantity of cables. For short-distance transportation with a small number of cables, small trucks can be used. During transportation, the wooden reels or cartons of the cables must be fixed firmly to prevent sliding and tipping during the driving of the vehicle.
