    The 5X10mm² and 5X16mm² copper core XLPE/Fr-PVC/Swa/Fr-PVC armored power cables are medium and low voltage distribution cables with complex structures and excellent performance, widely used in fixed laying scenarios in industrial, construction, energy and other fields. Their multi-layer composite structure design endows them with multiple advantages such as efficient conductivity, temperature resistance, fire resistance, and mechanical protection, making them ideal for power transmission in harsh environments.​ In terms of structure, the cable adopts a 5-core copper conductor design, with single-core cross-sectional areas of 10mm² and 16mm² respectively. The conductors are stranded from high-purity electrolytic copper with a purity of over 99.95%, ensuring low resistance and high conductivity. The DC resistance of the 10mm² cable conductor is ≤1.83Ω/km (at 20℃), and that of the 16mm² is ≤1.15Ω/km, which is much lower than industry standards, effectively reducing transmission losses. The outer layer of the conductor is sequentially coated with an XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation layer. After high-temperature cross-linking treatment, this material forms a three-dimensional network structure with a temperature resistance rating of 90℃ and an insulation resistance of ≥1000MΩ·km. The insulation thickness is 1.4mm (10mm²) and 1.6mm (16mm²) respectively, which can withstand a 12kV/5min voltage test without breakdown, and its insulation performance is far superior to ordinary PVC materials.​ Outside the insulation layer is a Fr-PVC (flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride) inner sheath with an oxygen index of ≥32. When exposed to fire, it forms a carbonized layer to block the spread of flames, complying with the GB/T 18380 flame retardant standard. The middle layer is Swa (steel wire armor), which uses galvanized low-carbon steel wires with a diameter of 1.6-2.0mm, wrapped in a spiral winding manner. The armor density is ≥80%, enabling the cable to resist mechanical impact, pressure, and rodent/ant bites. The armor layer of the 16mm² cable has a tensile strength of over 15kN, which can withstand soil pressure during underground laying. The outermost layer is a Fr-PVC outer sheath with a thickness of ≥2.0mm, which has acid and alkali resistance, UV aging resistance, and also meets flame retardant requirements, forming a double fire barrier.​ In terms of performance parameters, both cables have a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV, meeting the GB/T 12706.1 standard. The long-term operating temperature range is -40℃ to 90℃, and it can withstand high temperatures of 250℃ during short circuits (within 5s). The current-carrying capacity of the 5X10mm² cable is 65-85A (when laid in air) and 55-70A (when laid underground); the 5X16mm² is 85-110A and 70-90A, adapting to power distribution systems of different powers. The bending radius is 12 times the cable outer diameter (static) and 20 times (dynamic), facilitating laying construction in narrow spaces.​ Its characteristic applications cover multiple fields: in industrial plants, as power cables connecting high and low voltage distribution cabinets to large equipment (such as 100kW motors), the armor layer can resist vibration and impact during equipment operation; in the strong electric wells of high-rise buildings, the flame-retardant 特性 reduce fire hazards, suitable for emergency power circuits; in new energy photovoltaic power stations, the performance of withstanding -40℃ low temperature ensures stable power supply in winter; in underground pipe gallery projects, the double sheath and armor layer resist groundwater corrosion and mechanical damage. Compared with ordinary non-armored cables, its service life is extended by more than 30%, and the whole life cycle cost is lower.​ In market applications, the cable has passed CCC, CE and other certifications, and can be customized in length (up to 1000 meters per reel). When purchasing, it should be noted that: due to the increased usage of conductors and armor materials, the unit price of 16mm² cables is about 30%-40% higher than that of 10mm²; bulk purchases (over 500 meters) can enjoy an 8%-12% discount; choosing products with a 10-year warranty, although the initial cost increases by 5%, can avoid later maintenance risks and has better overall cost performance.
